You're a quiet boy Ollie and I think you've always doubled your ability in PE. One day when we were playing Dodgeball you became the "last man standing" in your team. Now, you could have given up but you didn't. You rose to the challenge and boy, did you put up a good fight! Your team cheered you on and the more they cheered the more you fought. Then we had a Dodgeball competition to go to. I asked if you would like to be part of the team and you said "Yes". The same thing happened - you were the "last man standing". This time you weren't against your class mates. once again, you pushed yourself to do the best job you possibly could. That's true determination Ollie, and I'm happy that you've become more confident. Well done to you!
It's the best person who wins, not the best cheat.
You know what's right Denny, you never cheat and you make sure that I know when someone else cheats because you know it's unfair. Keep that up Denny, be honest with yourself and others.
You both put your heart and soul into every activity.
Cleo, you have a passion to master all new skills and you keep going until you've done just that.
Theo, you give 100% every time, it's lovely to watch and I love your groovy moves when we dance! Keep it up!
Layton, you are amazing. You're a lovely, lovely little boy. You're polite and understanding for everyone around you. You don't mind whether you win or you lose as long as you and everyone else has fun. You support everybody, you help them in any way you can. You're just lovely.
Ben, you are an amazing partner and team player. You treat everyone equally. You make sure whoever you are working with has lots of fun, you help them achieve and celebrate their successes. I love to watch you because you are always so happy!
Jenson was very quiet, lacked confidence and was quite hesitant about his ability when he first joined us in Key Stage 2. Now I watch him taking part in PE and WOW! His confidence and determination have really grown. In PE he now leads teams with determination and not hesitation! He always plays to his maximum ability giving his all in whatever he does. I'm sure that, as Jenson progresses through school, he'll keep this up becoming a very talented young sportsman.
I'm giving this award to Lillie because she is an absolute Superstar! She is a fantastic team player, she works really hard to improve her own skills and encourages others to try their best to improve theirs. She gives her team mates words of support and praise when needed. I'm sure Lillie will continue to be a fantastic team player as she moves on to Secondary School and I'm certain that she will represent her new school in many sporting activities in the future.
Alex is such a brilliant role model to his peers and they really look up to him. He is respectful of the people around him and treats them politely and with understanding. I could have also given him the award for teamwork, passion and determination. He is an absolute pleasure to have in any PE session and a delightful young man!
Bella is a delight to have in my PE lessons. She always tries her best and joins in without any fuss giving 100%. Her honesty, fair play attitude and kindness to those around her is amazing. Bella always has the courage to do the right thing and is a fantastic role model in promoting this.
Harrie is very passionate about all sports he takes part in. He always gives 100% in everything he does. He is a very enthusiastic young man and approaches opportunities with passion and belief. During a recent Football Turnament, Harrie took on the role of team Captain, encouraging and praising his team members as well as playing a very important role himself.
Besides being an excellent sportsman, he is a polite, well mannered and respectful young man.
I always find this the hardest award to decide on and it never gets any easier. However, I take great delight that I can say that, because it shows that there are so many of you gaining confidence and improving your skills that I could give this award to.
At the beginning of Autumn term these two boys were slightly unsure about themselves and lacked confidence in PE but they never made a fuss or gave up. I always say "You've got to believe to achieve" and the pair of them have certainly started to believe in themselves! Their confidence has really grown, always giving 100% in everything.
