Robotics Competition

On Friday 7th July, 9 year 5 pupils took part in a robotics competition at Whitehaven Academy. The children were separated into 10 teams and designed and programmed Microbit robots to manoeuvre around a course. The completion was fierce but but the whole Beckstone Team worked their socks off and took first, second and third! The prizes were 1st prize £25 voucher, 2nd prize £20 voucher and 3rd prize £15 voucher. Miss McKeating and Beecroft were incredibly proud of all the children and how well they worked in their teams and how polite they all were. At the end of the day we were also awarded a £25 voucher for our computer suite! A fantastic Friday was had by all. Well done Team Beckstone!
