Your Vote Counts

In assembly today we were visited by Rachael Dodgson from the Parliament Outreach Service.

She came to talk to us about Parliament and how our democracy system works.

After the assembly Rachael worked with all of Year 5.

We learnt how we can register to vote when we are older, and what happens when there is an election.

Rachael also explained to us how the voting system started and the changes that have been made over time.
