Miu and the Pharaoh by Sally Wallace-Jones

We read Miu and the Pharaoh in our English lessons and discovered that it includes lots of interesting adjectives.

We looked for some of these adjectives while reading it; here is some of our work using the adjectives to help us imagine the Pharaoh’s palace.

We also did some writing in role as Miu and practised using prepositions linked to the story.

We enjoyed comparing and contrasting Miu and the Pharaoh to There's a Pharaoh In Our Bath! by Jeremy Strong.

While both books are linked to Ancient Egypt, we liked how funny Jeremy Strong's book was and would have liked Wallace-Jones' story to be longer.
