Heading Tullie House

We visited Tullie House in Carlisle for an Ancient Egypt Workshop where we had the opportunity to try four different activities.

We could find out about Egyptian gods and make a headdress, investigate and label Egyptian artefacts, read and create hieroglyphs
and mummify the museum Pharaoh Tuttantullie.

Once we had completed the different task we then performed a ceremony to send Tuttantullie into the afterlife.

       

After lunch we had the opportunity to look around the museum's galleries.

We enjoyed dressing up, but we weren't so happy about being put in the stocks!
