Life and Death in Ancient Egypt

After lunch we took part in an exciting workshop. We listened very carefully to the instructions.

We found out about life alongside the River Nile.

We learned about the mummification process by preparing the 'body of Tutantullie' for the Ceremony of the Dead.

We wrote messages in Hieroglyphs to send to Tutantullie.

We looked at statues and found out facts about some of the Gods of Ancient Egypt.

Then we made headdresses to wear for the ceremony.

We all took part in the Ceremony of the Dead, to help send Tutantullie on his journey into the afterlife.
