Volcanoes

As part of our Geography work Year 5 were very lucky to be visited by volcano and rock expert Steven Wright.

Steven showed us some photographs and videos from volcanoes he has seen.

   

He brought in lots of rocks to look at. We were amazed by all the different types of rock he had collected.

   

We experimented with some amazing models of volcanoes; one of them exploded and hit the ceiling!
