Felt Making

All of Year 1 and 2 worked together to create these amazing felt pictures based on the book 'The Journey'.

 There was 4 stages to go through.

First we had to create a base layer of merino wool.

Then we added strands of colours until we had created the pattern.

After that, we soaked the wool.

Then we rubbed it all over with soap to create the felts.

It was a very messy but fun experience. We love our masterpieces!
