Fur, Feathers and Friends

Mr Cheesley came to visit us at school. He brought lots of interesting things with him.

He talked about looking after animals and the world that they live in so that they don't become extinct.

He sorted the animals into different groups with help from the children, wild animals from other countries,
 wild animals from our country, farm animals and pets.
 
 He said he wasn't allowed to bring the real ones in, well they would make a big mess, especially the elephant!

 

We are very lucky in Cumbria to have native red squirrels and ospreys that visit the Lake District
every year from South Africa to nest and have young.
