Close encounters with live snails!

The children got up close to some garden snails in Nursery.

They were either completely enthralled or avoided them carefully!

Some overcame their initial fears and went from watching to holding and returning for a second turn.

Without exception the children were gentle and extremely careful about following the rules we put in place.

Their faces were a picture to watch and they learnt so much from this wonderful first-hand experience.
