Oenone Hammersley

As part of our Learning Challenge work about South America, we studied the art of Oenone Hammersley.

We used her artwork, inspired by the South American rainforest, to create our own drawings by 'framing' sections of her work and sketching them.

Next we experimented with lots of different art materials, including watercolour crayons, charcoal and Brusho.

We talked about which ones we liked and disliked.

Finally we created our own artwork inspired by Oenone Hammersley's work and the creatures of the rainforest.
