Stone Circle Art

We learned about some of the stone circles which were built during the Stone Age and Bronze Age.

We looked at photos of some stone circles near us, including Castlerigg at Keswick and Long Meg and her Daughters, which is near Penrith.

We also discussed some of the reasons Stonehenge may have been built.

After that we created these amazing silhouettes of stone circles.

We enjoyed making them and think they look fantastic in our class art gallery!
