Egyptian Amulets

In Ancient Egypt people used amulets to bring them good luck or to protect them.

Both rich and poor people wore amulets, made from lots of different materials and precious jewels.

We made our amulets out of clay.

When they had dried we painted them with gold or blue paint and then added the details with permanent markers.

Finally we threaded them with cord so that we could hang them around our necks. We think they look fantastic.
