Wheel Making

This week 1/2 JC are answering the question "How many ways could we get to Grandma's house?".

We came up with loads of forms of transport.

Then we looked at examples from many years ago and even some drawings of what some transport may look like in the future!

But one thing that hasn't changed much is the wheel.

We experimented by making our own wheel in teams. We added spokes and used all our cutting and joining skills.

We tested them in the hall then decided to improve our wheels, they needed more spokes.

We tested them again and found we were completely right.

Every team had made their wheel better by making is stronger and evenly round.
