Forest School

Our fifth visit

At base camp today Emma had a celebration event for us to say a big thank you for being such fab forest school rangers.

First we had to work together to collect some big branches and place them in a circle. We used these as seats while Emma showed us a kelly kettle and talked to us about how we were going to use it to heat some water to make some hot chocolate to drink.

She also explained to us about being safe and walking around the outside of the circle and not through the middle where the kelly kettle was.

Our hot chocolate was yummy. A big thank you to The Groundwork Trust, especially Emma and Blessing.
