Bridges

This term we have been studying bridges and rivers.

We went for a walk around Harrington to see how many bridges we could see.

We learned that there are 4 main types of bridge -

Arch Bridge
Beam Bridge
Cantilever Bridge
Suspension Bridge

We designed our own bridges and worked in groups to construct them.

We decided the best material to use was wooden dowelling.
