In our RE lesson we looked at how they celebrate Harvest in the Jewish religion.

They make a 'den' which must be open at one end. The 'Sukkah' reminds the Jewish people of the time they had to shelter when they were in the wilderness waiting for God to find them their Promised Land.

The Sukkah was decorated with leaves and branches for the roof, fruits, posters and paper chains.

We took turns in groups to create the Sukkah with Mrs Finlay's help.
