Microorganisms

To start our new learning on microorganisms, we investigated what they are and how they spread. We discovered that microorganisms are bacteria and viruses (germs).

We used glitter to represent the microorganisms, which can only be seen through a microscope! Jackson had contracted a deadly infection and we watched how the microbes travelled around the classroom. All of the surfaces and people Jackson touched were covered in glitter. From this, we learnt bacteria is transferred directly from one person to another.
