Fractions and Chocolate
This morning, we further developed our understanding of fractions using chocolate! We were able to develop and explore our ideas. We were also able to share our methods with our class friends.
In our classroom, there were three tables. Table 1 had one bar of chocolate on it, table 2 had two bars of chocolate on it and table 3 had three bars of chocolate on it.
When it was our turn to chose a table, we asked ourselves "If the chocolate on the table I sit at is to be shared out equally when I sit down, which would be the best table to sit at?"
Afterwards, we compared our different methods and discussed what we would do next time in a similar challenge.
