Y5&6 Investigation Stations

For this lesson, 5LJ joined with 6CC for a special task. The children needed to use the 'investigation stations' to collect facts about coal mining. The children worked together brilliantly and the mixed-age pairs showed phenomenal learning behaviours.

After using the investigation stations in 5LJ, the children moved to 6CC where there was a special delivery with a wax-sealed letter explaining our important mission! Both classes were very excited and were amazed to see some of the details in the 'Harrington through the Years' books.
