On Monday, Year 1 and 2 went on a school trip to Carlisle Castle.

It was a horrible rainy day but I was so excited when I got there. I was freezing!

As soon as we put our bags into the magazine we set off to wander.

First we went to the keep. It was very tall. I learnt a lot about it.

Next we had a tour of the castle and we got to wear clothes like the Queen and King.

After that we had our delicious lunch.

Finally it was time to go back to school. I had a wonderful time at Carlisle Castle.
