Master Chefs

   

   

Mrs Armstrong showed us how to make Celtic stew.
 
We used leeks,

 

onions,

turnips,

carrots,

and celery.

We chopped the vegetables very carefully.

   

   

   

   

Then we made our own bread.

   

   

   

   

We mixed the ingredients together very carefully and then Mrs Armstrong showed us how to knead the dough.

It was a messy job!

   

   

But we soon got the hang of it.

       

   

   

We made sure we cleaned up properly.

We added our vegetables and some herbs to the chopped beef and waited patiently for it to cook.

Our homemade Celtic stew was delicious.
