RSPCA Talk

On Wednesday 4th February Mr Cheeseley from the RSPCA came to visit all the Nursery children to tell them about animals.

We learnt a great deal and sat brilliantly for 45 minutes - well done everyone!

Can you keep an elephant as a pet?

We decided that the elephant would be very hard to keep and it wouldn't be happy!

A chimpanzee is a bit like us but he needs lots of tall trees and friends.

Where do dragons come from?

Are they real?

British wild animals

We are so lucky to see red squirrels and ospreys in Cumbria.

Farm animals

Some animals are looked after by farmers and give us useful things like wool, milk and eggs.

Our pets

Our pets need to be well looked after with toys of their own and lots of love.

Everyone enjoyed Mr Cheeseley's talk.

We will continue to learn about birds in winter for the rest of this week.
