Forest School

Our fourth visit

When we arrived at base camp this week Emma had a task ready for us.

We had to go up the Giant's Staircase and find some items that didn't belong in the forest!

When we found them we had to remember them all and then tell an adult what they were.

Can you see them?

How many can you remember?

We had another letter from the Pixie King and the Fairy Queen, they really liked our houses from last week and had
sprinkled fairy dust on them to make them invisible.

To Reception children from Beckstone Primary School,

Thank you very much for building our homes last week!
You all did a wonderful job and we have been warm and cosy ever since.

You won't be able to see the homes today as we have sprinkled them with magic dust to help keep us safe.

We were wondering if you might like to help us again with another job?

We would like you to do some paintings for us. The walls in our homes are plain and dull and we would love to see some of your artwork hanging up!

Have fun and good luck!

Emma showed us how to make 'mud' and asked us questions about what to do to make it thinner or thicker.

We had great fun finding things to use as brushes.

We are getting really good at climbing trees now without any help.

We even set up a shop in one and had to count out leaves to sell to Mrs Pike.
