Canopic Jars

To conclude our learning about Ancient Egyptian Canopic jars, the children have created their own! They looked carefully at the colours and details on photos of real Canopic jars found by archaeologists. Then they also looked at the hieroglyphics on the front of the jars. Here are their lovely finished works of art!
