Minutes of Last Meeting
confirmed that they had received a copy of the previous minutes and approved the
discussed PTA Accounts. We presently have a balance of £2085.59 following a
donation of £500 to Rock Challenge and profit of £160.04 from our Bunny Drive.
It was decided that any profit from the Royal Wedding ticket sales after all
expenses deducted remain in the school fund. Our sponsored event raised a
whopping total of £1741.70, school tracksuits have now been ordered (as agreed
at our last meeting) costing approximately £1000 the remaining funds will be
credited to PTA Accounts.
Mrs Scott has submitted a further application for Community Cashback of £250 from the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and this should be received shortly.
As the children have already had various events including bouncy castles this year staff have suggested that Fun Day events should run as follows:
Foundation and KS1 to have a "party day" including games in their classrooms.
KS2 to bring in toys and games from home
Mrs Murray has "volunteered" to hand out dictionaries at the Graduation event to Year 6 leavers on 19th July. It has also been suggested that Mrs Askew be invited to join her as this will be her last graduation and indeed her last year in the PTA (maybe!!!). Mrs Hardy is to contact her in this regard. All are welcome to attend and watch the play planned for this year's event.
Halloween falls on the Monday after half term this year. Members agreed to ensure that all children are able to enjoy the event that a Halloween Day be held during the day at School on Monday 31st October. This event is to be discussed further at our next meeting.
