Workington Shopmobility

Shopmobility is a scheme which provides powered scooters and manual wheelchairs for people with mobility difficulties, to help them shop and use the facilities in Workington town centre.

To celebrate the official launch of Workington Shopmobility, a choir of children from our school were singing Christmas carols in The Hub this morning.

A well-deserved drink in a warm place!

The Mayor of Allerdale, Councillor Allan Caine, joined the winning pupil in the school’s competition to design a Christmas card for Allerdale Disability Association, in cutting the ribbon to let the first users of Workington Shopmobility through the doors.
