An artist called Hans Ulrich worked with last year's Reception class (now year 1) on making clay tiles. He then took the children's work away, glazed and fired it and he returned last week to put the mosaic together. It is a wonderful addition to the school and takes pride of place in the ever developing garden.

The school has been fortunate to receive some continuation funding from the West Cumbrian Excellence Cluster and it will mean Hans will be returning later this year and will involve every child making a tile for a large mosaic which will be placed on the wall directly opposite the top of the hill and visible from the Post Office!
