The gardening club would like to say a huge thank you to Homebase at Carlisle for donating these plants, including strawberries, herbs and lavender.

We look forward to planting these out soon.

A huge thank you to Mrs Little, one of our PTA members, and Blomfield Nursery in Whitehaven for the fantastic donation
of some fabulous pansies and violas. Our winter tubs are going to look amazing.

Alison from Tesco in Workington came to deliver some seeds and 200 daffodil bulbs to plant in our tubs.

Look out for them flowering in Spring.

Two very happy garden club members can't wait to get planting.

A huge thank you to James from Asda at Dunmail Park, we have been given some lovely winter flowering plants
to brighten up the school in the winter months.

A big, big thank you to Andrew from Cumbria Gardening.

Andrew has given up some of his very valuable time and is in the process of re-doing the paths in the Reception garden.

He has removed lots of the old composted down bark, which was riddled with mares-tail weed,
very invasive and hard to get rid of!

Next Andrew is to lay new landscaping fabric and cover all the paths with 6.1/2 tonnes of gravel.

Watch this space for more photos.

A very big thank you to Thomas Armstrong's for their generous donation of 7 tonnes of gravel to enhance the paths in the
Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 garden.

Don't the paths in our garden look great now that they are finished?

Another big 'thank you' to Andrew from Cumbria Gardens and Thomas Armstrong's for donating time and materials.

A big thank you to Dobbies at Carlisle for their fantastic donations
